The coal market strengthened yesterday, while oil and gas prices slipped.
Coal prices increased yesterday, and the Q1-08 API#2 gained USD 1.23 to USD 123.30/t after touching a low at USD 118 earlier in the week. Oil flirted with the USD 100 mark on Wednesday, but ended down day on day. Meanwhile, gas and coal lost in value, whilst carbon ended more or less unchanged on the back of a sell off in the afternoon.
