Crude oil extended losses on Thursday, while the European CO2 market experienced another bull run that pushed prices to a fresh high.
Crude oil prices slipped further yesterday in spite of early gains on news that the Opec might cut production due to strong stock pile figures. The IPE Brent for July delivery settled 27 cents lower day-on-day at USD 47.88 a barrel, almost a dollar down from the intraday high of 48.82.
