Oil prices are moving upwards again, on the back of stronger than expected economic figures from China and renewed strength of hurricane Emily. Carbon prices once again moved sideways yesterday while coal continued down.
At Nymex, the August contract rose 14 cents to USD 57.46 a barrel yesterday. Since August expires as a trading product today focus is now shifting to the September contract that rose 27 cents to 58.69 USD/barrel.
