Commodities - Carbon still strong

Prices in the carbon market firmed further at the end of last week, whilst the picture was more mixed on the fuels market.
The December 08 carbon contract reached new highs Friday, trading in a range of EUR 23.17 to 24.20/t, before ending the day at 24.08. “The UBS report and the German power market contributed to the upward development on the carbon market,” one carbon trader told Montel Powernews.
