The European Union is threatening latecomers with legal action for not submitting their NAP2 proposals whilst carbon contracts continue to swirl downwards.
Phase one and phase two carbon prices continued to move downwards on Tuesday. The December 06 contract traded down 35 cents to EUR 6.70/tonne at the ECX, whilst December 07 dropped 25 cents to 6.85 as the end of the year approaches.
