Carbon prices traded around the EUR 8 level as some players are believed to be selling off their positions afraid that prices will come even further down.
Prices on the carbon market continued downwards Monday. The front month contract was fixed at EUR 8.45/tonne on the ECX, down 25 cents, closely followed by the December 07 contract which shed 25 cents to 8.70 day on day.
