The price of 2008 carbon allowances regained strength on Wednesday, as more utilities were said to be on the buying side.
Having fallen during the first two day of the week, the benchmark December 2008 carbon contract traded within a 22.60-23.80 range on the ICE/ECX yesterday before settling at 23.65, up 95 cents from Tuesday.
