The price of EU carbon allowances dropped considerably yesterday after preliminary emission figures were released for 2006. Meanwhile, the oil price continued up amid the political row between the UK and Iran.
Carbon prices dropped both for the first and second phase yesterday after 2006 emissions figures from 93 per cent of the installations taking part in the EU ETS were published.
