Commodities - Carbon down on profit taking

Carbon prices moved down on the back of profit taking yesterday afternoon whlie oil continued to gain in value on lower US stockpiles.
The European emissions price adjusted down after an upward movement which started at the beginning of the week. The benchmark December 2008 contract slipped to a settlement price of EUR 20.25/t on the ICE/ECX platform, shedding of 66 cents day on day. The contract reached EUR 21.00 during the morning hours before it was sold down to an intraday low of EUR 20.12/t. The development on the

Commodities - Further gains in oil and CO2
The price for carbon allowances jumped yesterday as technical resistance levels were broken. Oil prices climbed further, among other things driven by the rally in US equities.
