Commodities – Buying carbon

Oil was stable while gas traded down Tuesday, with carbon firming during the day on increased buying interest.
Crude oil prices in New York for August settled at USD 70.01/ barrel, up 46 cents from Monday while IPE Brent for August delivery dropped 3 cents to close at USD 68.08 /barrel.The US Energy Information Administration statistics which were released yesterday indicate that the worldwide oil demand could be expected to increase by around 32m barrels a day to reach 118m barrels around 2030.
