Oil prices are rising on Thursday as renewed optimism regarding a solution to the eurozone debt crisis bolsters Asian stock markets.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 111.36/bbl on the Ice platform, up USD 0.70 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI February contract on Nymex, which has not yet expired, traded USD 0.83 higher at USD 101.42/bbl.
