All fuels as well as carbon on the EU ETS market were up at the end of last week.
Crude oil continued to regain strength at the end of last week as the January delivery both in New York as well as in London rose close to a dollar. The Nymex WTI was traded in a range of 58.15-59.55 and settled up 85 cents at USD 59.32. The price for oil in the US moved back above the USD 60/ a barrel mark for the first time in four weeks. Elsewhere, carbon gained with coal also firming. However, gas prices fell, albeit still at a high level.

The price for oil in the US moved back above the USD 60/ a barrel mark for the first time in four weeks. Elsewhere, carbon gained with coal also firming. However, gas prices fell, albeit still at a high level.

Commodities - Continuing north
Prices continued climbing in the oil and gas markets yesterday, and carbon prices strengthened as well. Coal prices were mainly unchanged.
