The premium of Brent crude oil over WTI is narrowing on Friday on expectations the death of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi will increase crude output, lending bearish pressure to the European benchmark, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 109.65/bbl on the Ice platform, down USD 0.11 on Thursday's close, while the WTI December contract on Nymex traded USD 0.26 higher at USD 86.33/bbl.
