Brent crude oil prices are edging lower following Monday's sharp gains as an Alaskan pipeline outage, responsible for delivering up to 15% of US output, is expected to be short-lived, said players on Tuesday.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 95.37/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.33 on Monday's close.
On Monday, the Brent front month jumped USD 2.37 to settle at USD 95.70/bbl, while in New York the WTI front month gained USD 1.22 to USD 89.25/bbl.
