Brent crude oil is trading in a tight range on Thursday around the previous session's settlement, when the front month hit a fresh 3-month high above USD 116 after a decline in US crude inventories.
The September Brent crude oil contract, which expires in the current session, last traded at USD 116.34/bbl, up USD 0.09 on Wednesday's close, on the Ice exchange.
On Wednesday, the contract reached an intraday high of USD 116.72/bbl - not seen since mid-May - before settling at USD 116.25/bbl.
