Brent crude prices are firming on Monday morning as the focus has shifted away from Egypt after president Hosni Mubarak's resignation to tighter North Sea supplies, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 101.65/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.71 on Friday's close.
Brent prices were supported by weaker shipments from the North Sea, as well as the International Energy Agency last week revising up its global oil demand forecast for 2011 by 140,000 bbl/day, said Ben Westmore, commodi
