Prices for Brent crude oil fell 1.3% on Thursday due to profit-taking, while WTI prices rose on perceptions it was getting too cheap, players said on Friday.
The April contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 102.57/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.02 on Thursday's close, when the contract dropped USD 1.19 day on day.
On Nymex, the WTI March contract last traded USD 0.22 lower at USD 86.14/bbl, after having gained USD 1.37 in the Thursday session.
