Commodities – Bears, bears, bears

Monday’s trading session saw crude oil, coal and gas prices coming down, while the first phase carbon contract hit another all-time low.
Crude oil slipped more than a dollar on Monday. The Nymex WTI front month settled down 1.41 at USD 54.01/bbl, while the Brent front month was fixed at USD 53.68/bbl, 1.61 weaker day on day.  Trading on the black stuff registered two-dollar volatility on both sides of the Atlantic in yesterday’s session with the intraday highs seen a touch below the USD 56 mark.Edward Meir at Man Fi
