Commodities - Attacks on the downside

Fresh attacks on Nigerian oil installations, as well as an outage at UK’s largest gas storage facility sent fuel prices firmly up at the beginning of the week.
April Brent on Monday settled up 1.65 at USD 61.54 a barrel following attacks on oil production and distribution facilities inNigeria over the weekend. The attacks forced Shells to cut suspend 455,000 barrels a day of its oil output, or around 19 per cent of Nigeria’s 2.4m barrels per day production of light, sweet crude oil.The upward trend was reversed this morning as Brent crude
