Crude oil prices gained on the back of unexpectedly low stock levels which were largely caused by the fog-related closure of the Houston ship channel last week.
In New York, crude oil for February closed at USD 91.24/barrel, up USD 1.16 day on day. Meanwhile, in London, the corresponding Brent contract moved up USD 1.36, settling at USD 91.48/barrel.
