Commodities – All eyes on Vienna

Last week saw fuel markets ending relatively stable. This current week will see important events taking place in the Austrian capital.
The oil market will today be keeping a close eye on the meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, which may move Iran closer to possible sanctions. At the moment of writing, oil is a touch softer as the ICE Brent is currently changing hands at USD 63.98, down 20 cents on Friday’s fix. Brent crude came off almost two dollars on Monday as bearish signals came out of the Opec meeting in Vienna. Elsewhere, the picture was mixed, with forward prices for both gas and coal firmer yesterday.
