Both carbon and fuel prices came off yesterday. Oil prices dropped on easing tensions in the dispute between Iran and the UK.
Carbon prices continued down yesterday, both for the first and second phase. The sentiment remains bearish after Monday’s release of 2006 emissions figures, and in addition softer German power prices andUK gas prices contributed on the downside.The December 2007 contract closed at EUR 0.90/tonne on Thursday, down 15 cents, while the contract for December 2008 delivery fell 81 cents
