As carbon prices continue their journey south, the picture is also bearish in other commodity markets.
Carbon prices fell again on Tuesday. The December 07 contract opened a touch higher at EUR 4.20/tonne, but slipped later in the day ending at EUR 3,50/tonne, another record low. Market players attributed the continued price fall to bearish fundamentals and lower oil, gas and power prices. “I would love to see rising prices, but the fundamentals simply do not justify such a picture,”
