Nordic forward prices are falling on Wednesday morning due to wet weather forecasts and softer CO2 prices, a trader said.
The Q4 contract last traded at EUR 47.15/MWh at Nord Pool, down EUR 0.65 from Tuesday, while the 2011 contract last traded at EUR 43.20/MWh, down 60 cents. "The players in the market are pricing in pretty wet weather, and this is consistent with the forecasts. There is little turnover in the market, but quite large movements.
