The market is in a Friday mood, and traders are adjusting positions before the weekend. Drier forecasts lifted the forward market at opening, but the contracts are currently being traded at around yesterday’s settlement.
“The weather forecasts are quite bullish, but today there is a slightly increasing probability of a wetter end. I assume the movements are caused by traders adjusting their positions before the weekend. Carbon prices and the German power prices are moving sideways, and so is the Nordic market,” says Sigve Ekeland at Lyse Handel.V2-05 is last traded at 281 NOK/MWh, up 1.37 NOK
