Nordic power forwards are staging a slight recovery on Friday morning, with a weather-driven front end defying the recent tendency of slavishly shadowing crude oil prices.
The front quarter gained EUR 1.30 to EUR 35.80/MWh at the time of writing, recovering losses experienced during the week on the back of dry and cool forecasts. Meanwhile, the front year rose 24 cents to EUR 33.35/MWh, with an inclination to remain close to all-time bottom levels observed throughout the week.
