A wet weather outlook is causing Nordic power forwards to fall on Thursday morning, while market players are said to be reluctant to take long positions, in anticipation of a softer spot price next week.
The Q4 11 contract was last seen down EUR 0.80 at EUR 48.60/MWh, while the Q1 12 contract had lost EUR 0.75 at EUR 49.70/MWh. Meanwhile, the September contract was last seen down EUR 0.80 to EUR 44.10/MWh, while the front year had fallen EUR 0.45 to EUR 45.95/MWh.
