Nordic forwards are softening slightly on Thursday morning on the back of weaker fuels and CO2, but the market sentiment remains uncertain, traders said.
The Q3 10 contract had lost EUR 0.49 to EUR 46.76/MWh at the time of writing, while the YR 11 contract had shed EUR 0.40 to EUR 45.10/MWh. "Weaker fuels and emissions are causing the year ahead to drop, reinforced by bearish technical signals,” a Finnish trader said. "With a large hydrological deficit remaining, I expect a price drop short-term. But a low turnover reflects a wait-and-see
