A change to drier and colder weather is pushing the front end of Nordic power curve up on Monday morning, players said.
The Q4 09 contract was last seen at EUR 30.95/MWh, up 40 cents day on day. "The main reason for today's rise is drier and colder weather forecasts. Temperatures are expected to decrease during the week and players are wary of how it will affect the spot price development,” said a Norwegian trader.
