Nordic forward prices are falling on Monday morning due to weak spot, wetter weather and increased nuclear capacity in Sweden, traders said.
The Q2 contract last traded at EUR 46.15/MWh on Nord Pool, down EUR 2.50 from Friday. The 2011 contract last traded at EUR 41.20/MWh, down EUR 0.70. "The spot price for Monday came in lower than expected, and combined with wetter forecasts the market was pulled down Monday morning," said Preben Olsen, trader at Norwegian utility BKK.
