Nordic forward prices are falling on Thursday morning on weaker coal and German power, combined with a weaker market sentiment on the front end, traders said.
The Q2 contract was last seen at EUR 45.75/MWh, down EUR 0.45 day on day, while the YR 11 was traded at EUR 40.40/MWh, down EUR 0.80 on Wednesday's settlement. "The market sentiment seems to have changed. Players used to buy at bull signals, but now they seem to take profits, despite a fundamental upside from continued dry and cold forecasts,” a continental trader said.
