The front end of the curve is sideways to marginally down from yesterday's close, while the contracts for 2008 are being traded slightly higher.
Q1-08 was last seen at EUR 49.65/MWh, up 30 cents from Monday's settlement. One Swedish trader says he finds it a bit strange that the market is firming, and expects prices to slide downwards again. "The forecasts are wetter, and the German power market is easing off. I don't really see any bull factors today, but I guess that there are some players who want to lift the market," he comments.
