The front end of the Nordic curve is rising on the back of continued cold and dry weather forecasts on Tuesday morning, but there is "no reason to panic” despite a weakening hydrological balance, traders said.
The Q2 10 contract was last seen at EUR 44.55/MWh, up EUR 0.55 day on day, while the YR 11 contract changed hands at EUR 41.55/MWh, down EUR 0.05 on Monday's settlement. Meanwhile, the February 2010 contract had gained EUR 2.00 at EUR 52.25/MWh.
