The front end of the Nordic forward curve is firming on the back of drier forecasts on Thursday morning, although minor price movements indicate cautiousness among market players, traders said.
The bellwether Q1 10 contract was last seen at EUR 34.60/MWh, up EUR 0.20 day on day, while YR 10 had gained EUR 0.15 at 34.05/MWh. Earlier in the session, the front quarter contract touched a high of EUR 35/MWh, while the year ahead had peaked at EUR 34.25/MWh.
