Dry weather forecasts and rising coal prices are pushing up Nordic power on Monday morning.
The Q2-09 contract was last seen at EUR 38.55/MWh, up EUR 1.30 from Friday.
„Coal prices are rising more than CO2 prices are falling, increasing the short term marginal cost of coal. In addition, we have dry weather forecasts that will continue to make the hydrological situation worse", said a Danish trader.
