Nordic Market - Correction to the uptrend

Nordic power prices are adjusting downwards Tuesday morning. “Wetter forecasts lead to profit taking and falling forward prices today, but unless oil and carbon prices start decreasing, this is just a correction to the uptrend,” Sigve Ekeland at Lyse Handel told Montel Powernews.
“The weather has a huge job ahead to bring the power prices down. As long as the other commodities are pulling in the opposite direction, it is difficult to turn the bull trend,” he says.However, Ekeland is questioning the CO2 market’s impact on the Nordic power prices.“The CO2 market is thin and illiquid, and it is easy for one large player to push prices
