Contracts in the Nordic power market are rising again on Thursday morning, fuelled by forecasts of dry and cold weather.
The Q1 contract was last seen at EUR 71.30/MWh, up EUR 3.45 on the previous day, after hitting an intraday high at EUR 72.45/MWh. The Cal 11 contract was up 1.90 at EUR 56.85/MWh. "The forecast this morning showed that rather than a change, there will be a new area of high pressure coming in at the end of the 10-day period,” a trader at a Finnish utility said.
