Nordic Market – Brutal

The Nordic power market is experiencing one of the most brutal days ever, with losses of 4-5 euros seen across the board. The reason is cracking carbon prices.

Nordic Market – Fumbling in the dark
Prices continue their strong downward direction in the Nordic power market this morning. Spot prices will gradually adjust to dramatically lower marginal costs for coal power plants, but players are still fumbling in the dark for more fundamental signals from the CO2 market.
