Nordic power prices are skyrocketing on Monday morning on the back of extreme spot prices, and "anything can happen” with the prices depending on hydropower producers' water values, traders said.
"Today will go down in history. Anything can happen now. Nordic power prices are so far above German peak prices that the only important thing is the bid curve among hydropower producers,” analyst Andreas Persson at Swedish supplier Telge Kraft said.
