Market - Where have all the lowers gone?

Wednesday morning presented a relatively serene market, while weather forecasts remain wet and mild. A Swedish trader argued today that we may have a somewhat shaky market for yet some time, and held that he was surprised that the open interest was on the upside so quickly after the Monday avalanche.

Market - Copy and paste?
The Thursday morning market was slow, but fell on confirmed wet and warm weather forecasts as activity was picking up gradually. The fact that less precipitation than prognosticated is delivered, contributes to prevent a more significant fall, traders said this morning.

It was the morning after at Nord Pool today, following the extraordinary Monday when the total market traded over 31,000 GWh and recorded an all-time high turnover. The Tuesday market started off carefully around yesterday’s closing levels, but was lifted slightly during morning hour trading.
