Market - Strong spot gives bull sentiment

The Monday morning market gapped up significantly, seeing that the system price was fixed well above expectations at 245.57 NOK/MWh. V2-03 was traded up to 245 NOK/MWh, fell a notch, but came back up with the news that Ringhals1 is going out of production today and broke through its 245-resistance level.
Prices soared to winter-like levels today. It was expected that the system price would be strong today, but not this strong, a Norwegian player confirmed. Market - A little bit down and a little bit up
The Tuesday morning market was down in the front and up in the forwards, but had calmed down considerably from the busy Monday. Weather forecasts are slightly wetter and the spot is expected to start sliding. Yesterday’s gap has been corrected, something that was expected all along, a Norwegian player said. A Danish player waited for news from Ringhals1, which he received, but little action was triggered as a consequence.

Market - A little bit down and a little bit up
The Tuesday morning market was down in the front and up in the forwards, but had calmed down considerably from the busy Monday. Weather forecasts are slightly wetter and the spot is expected to start sliding. Yesterday’s gap has been corrected, something that was expected all along, a Norwegian player said. Market - After wild comes?
Things had calmed down this morning, seeing Thursday trading high and low with exceptional volumes and a weak close. Today the sentiment started off bearish too, but V2-03 lifted above 232 NOK/MWh during morning trading and the nearest weeks were up a few NOK. Players said they were incredibly pleased with the last days’ action, but were still cautious in their predictions for next week, which could be a week of more surprises.
