Market - Quiet bull

Dry forecasts killed of suggestions of a trend change this morning lifting V2-03 back above NOK 250. But activity is low, and momentum weak suggesting that the market won’t lift much more this afternoon.
Traders woke up too much drier and warmer forecast today, and the autumn contract lifted back in to the NOK 250-251 area, where it has more or less traded throughout the week.- A lot of water disappeared from the forecast today, and it is therefore natural that the market goes up today. The hydrological balance is weak, import is very expensive and the influx remains very low in Sweden.

The northern movement continued this Monday morning seeing V2-03 lift through 255 NOK/MWh effortlessly. The trend is unambiguously up, a Swedish player pointed out, and a Norwegian said that he wasn’t exactly shocked to see prices continue up this morning. Market - Possible trend change
The market opened further down this morning with most contracts settling 2-4 NOKs below yesterday’s closing levels. A Swedish trader believed today’s drop is a natural correction before the market starts heading north again, while a Norwegian producer was more bearish.
