Market - Nuclear outage triggers correction

A sudden outage at Ringhals 2 (872MW) gave the bulls incentive to lift the market this morning, after it had opened down on continuous wet and mild forecast. V1-04 is up 5.50 NOK/MWh on yesterday’s close at 313.
A Norwegian trader attributed most of today’s lift to a sudden outage at Ringhals 2 (835MW), which evens out the gains from the restart of the Ringhals 1 reactor, which is in the process of regaining full output.
