Market - Gap by gap

The Monday morning market unsurprisingly gapped up, due to the strong system price and dry, cool weather forecasts. After last week’s Wild West the beginning of this week was more careful, however, and a Swedish trader argued that despite the strong underlying fundamental trend, players would have become cautious. A Norwegian trader believed in a system price-lift of some 20 NOK within the current week.

Market - And little by little
The Tuesday morning market opened with fear and care, still up another few NOKs. Players today are still convinced that the trend points in a continued northern direction, but at the same time argue that the short-term picture is slightly unclear, based on last week’s actions and a general fear of what would happen if big positions suddenly started closing.

The Tuesday morning market opened with fear and care, still up another few NOKs. Players today are still convinced that the trend points in a continued northern direction, but at the same time argue that the short-term picture is slightly unclear, based on last week’s actions and a general fear of what would happen if big positions suddenly started closing.

Market - Rain in vain?
The Friday market was in a relatively neutral state of mind after the significant correction yesterday, and players argued that the uncertain weather forecasts are the reason for this. And while the nearest products were lifted this morning, the forwards were all in red. A continued climb seems to be expected next week, however, as the current forecasts are not wet enough and the system price is expected to be strong, players said this morning.
