Market - Bull on brakes

The week started off with a price lift in the forwards and SO-04 was lifted to 224.25 NOK/MWh. In the sluggish morning market that looked capable to tilt either way, players disagreed whether we’d see the contract at 225 NOK/MWh and above.
- The market just wouldn’t go down this time, and someone decided that we shouldn’t be short after all. I’m not very bullish about the nearest future, however, and believe that as we get to March the summer will start coming down again. In the course of next month the contract most likely will be traded below 200 NOK/MWh. I also doubt that we’ll see it above 225 NOK/MWh

Market - To break or not to break...
The Friday morning session was set on a familiar price level, the summer contract trading around 219 NOK/MWh before lifting to magical 220 NOK/MWh. A Norwegian trader said that there wasn’t much to hurray for this morning, and didn’t expect much action this Friday.
