Market - Believe in bull, wait for correction

The Monday morning market continued its trip up, despite another disappointing Monday spot, at least for the bulls. Players and observers today argue that the underlying trend looks very strong, but points out that the lift has been void of corrections for quite some time. Unless precipitation now really starts to deliver, the bull-trend is bound to continue, they say.
In the 190s An international trader stated this morning that he had expected the system price to be fixed higher today, but saw the market as very strong despite of this. He nonetheless argued that he would be very surprised if the spot should come up to 200 NOK/MWh this week. He doubted that the levels would be lifted much more now: - I had expected the system price

Market - Fear of Red October?
A slightly bullish but highly nervous market remained in its position this morning, lifting back a couple of NOKs after yesterday afternoon’s drop. To see a continued upside the spot has to lead the way, a Norwegian producer stated today. An international trader pointed out the fear of a wet October that is now building up in the market.

A slightly bullish but highly nervous market remained in its position this morning, lifting back a couple of NOKs after yesterday afternoon’s drop. To see a continued upside the spot has to lead the way, a Norwegian producer stated today. An international trader pointed out the fear of a wet October that is now building up in the market.

While the Friday morning market was determined to continue to lift steadily, Monday is expected to be more aggressively bullish, players say today. At the same time, a Swedish trader pointed out, the levels have been lifted considerably the last couple of months. W2-02 is up some NOK 40 since late July.
