Crude oil prices were spiralling last week, setting new all-time highs in every session with the front month in New York being traded above USD 67 on Friday. Carbon saw a steady two euro rise in the seven day period, while coal prices recovered sligthly.
The US crude oil benchmark WTI settled at USD 66.86 a barrel on Friday, firming 1.06 day on day and more than four and a half dollars week on week. In London , Brent crude ended the week at 66.45, representing a day on day rise of 1.07 and a weekly gain of 5.38 dollars.
