Oil prices dropped 4–5 dollars last week to below USD 50/barrel on NYMEX and just above the 51 mark on the IPE. Coal lost more than one dollar in the same period and CO2 lost around 70 eurocents.
US light crude oil for June delivery settled at USD 49.72/barrel on Friday following an intraday low of 49.10, down 5.67 on the previous Friday.
