Opec's decision to cut production output by 2.2 million barrels/day, the biggest cut in history, failed to sustain a bullish trend in the oil market and prices looked softer again on Thursday morning.
In London, the front month Brent contract for North Sea crude oil was seen traded at USD 45.38/bbl early Thursday, down 15 cents on Wednesday's close. The contract ended the previous session USD 1.12 softer day on day, having traded at a high and low of USD 48.91/bbl and USD 45.30/bbl respectively.
