Crude oil prices are edging lower in range-bound trading on Wednesday morning after Tuesday's volatility as the market awaits the afternoon's US inventories report, traders said.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last heard USD 0.03 lower at USD 76.19/bbl. On Nymex, meanwhile, the WTI front month contract, which had now rolled to September, went through last USD 0.03 softer at USD 77.55/bbl.
On Tuesday, the Brent contract closed USD 0.60 higher at USD 76.22/bbl, while WTI ended the session USD 0.90 higher day on day at USD 77.44/
